Ingredients:
200g Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate (chopped)
100g butter
3 large eggs
200g caster sugar
100g brown sugar
100g plain flour
50g cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line an 8×8-inch square baking pan.
Melt the chocolate and butter: In a heatproof bowl, melt the Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and butter together over simmering water or in the microwave. Stir until smooth and let it cool slightly.
Mix the wet ingredients: Whisk together the eggs, caster sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Combine dry and wet ingredients: Stir in the cooled melted chocolate mixture, then fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs (not raw batter).
Cool: Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares. Serve warm or chilled with a scoop of ice cream
